Matter in Time
Matter in Time is a series of six digital artworks by Bastiaan van Ederen. The collection explores energy waves and the crystallisation of matter, translating the fluidity of energy into abstract physical forms that appear to emerge, shift and take shape over time.
Energy becoming form
Each work holds a luminous field where wave and mass seem to meet. Colour moves through dark space as if energy were cooling into structure: fluid at one moment, crystalline at the next. The images stay abstract, but the sense of matter taking shape remains clear.
Glow held in the room
Hung together, the works form a sequence of related states; alone, a single piece still carries a concentrated glow. In an interior they register as light and form first, then as a quieter sense of motion held still. Their presence comes from luminous density rather than from loud graphic contrast.
Matter in Time in your space
Scale, light and surrounding materials can significantly influence how the work is experienced. We can help you select the most suitable artwork, size and placement, and create a complimentary visual mock-up using a photograph of your wall or interior so you can see how Matter in Time could work within your space.
