Perception

Perception is a series of three digital works built from interlacing and overlapping graphic forms. Subtle yet vivid colour combinations create a gentle moiré effect, balancing graphic clarity with a sense of optical movement. The compositions remain minimal, while the relationships between line, form and colour keep the image from becoming completely still.

Between structure and movement

Each work begins with a clear, minimal form, but the overlapping lines keep the image from becoming static. As colours and structures intersect, the eye picks up small shifts, overlaps and vibrations. The composition remains controlled while perception becomes less fixed.

Colour in motion

In a room, the restrained composition gives colour and line enough space to register gradually. From further away the works read as calm graphic forms; at closer range the interlacing lines become more present. Their effect comes less from visual volume than from the tension between still composition and optical activity.
